Tonight I am thankful for:
Wednesday Night Special on made-to-order, ooey-gooey pizza from Whole Foods. 16" of lovely mushroom pizza for $8.99. It's about the only reason I'll walk into Whole Foods given my urge to splurge on food items outside of our budget. Although I must admit that I left the store with hot pizza in hand and a six-pack of Dark Horse Brewing Company's Reserve Special Black Bier Ale-see what I mean about the urge to splurge?
It got me wondering...What is your weakness- the item(s) you are most likely to toss into your grocery basket that you had no intention of buying when you walked into the store? Chocolate? Booze? Lucky Charms? Just curious...

Ooooh, that Black Bier is really good. I love the donkey on the label...he's smiling!
My weakness is cookies, yummy breads or big muffins. My mom used to make me a snack every day after school, and I'm sure that has something to do with it.
Also, I am a sucker for a MI beer, but my mom didn't give me beer after school, so....
I crumble (melt?) at the sight of a high-end chocolate bar such as Dagoba's lavender-infused dark chocolate.
I am also frequently guilty of buying Lindeman's Framboise lambic ale on a whim any time I see it.
Mmm..I would eat the chocolate with the lambic. (I love that Framboise lambic ale, by the way!)
Cheeeeese!
I'm a sucker for the mini desserts, like the tiny little key lime pies in the bakery case. Nine times out of ten they are disappointing too.
Chocolate icecream mochi or sun dried tomato wheat thins. Recently Almond Joys are becoming my friend. Sigh... but not a friend to my butt. Insane I know but delicious!
